2018 Eau de Rosée

Description

Our flagship rosé has found it’s formula, now including our oldest blocks of Cinsault grapes that provide a sturdy base accented by the neighboring blocks of young Grenache. We added our first harvest of young Chardonnay grapes to the Vermentino grapes for florals, citrus and complexity.  Ample rainfall provided us with the perfect conditions for early harvest, quick fermentations and very light alcohol content.

Color:   Very pale melon

Nose:  Rosebuds, fresh almonds, mango

Mouth:  Lively peach, litchi and citrus (lemon).

Cinsault 48%, Grenache 32%, Rolle 15%, Chardonnay 5%

Fermentation

Indigenous yeasts, Malolactic fermentation, Temperature controlled stainless steel tanks

Night harvest by hand in 12 kilo crates
